Front Range Staffing is seeking a Part Time Manual Machinist with 3+ years' experience in machining, equipment repair, or a related manufacturing role.

Pay: $28-30hr.
Hours: 7am to 4pm Mon- Fri

Northern Colorado Springs

An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and saws to manufacture, repair, and modify metal parts.

• Interpret technical drawings and select tooling, cutting speeds, and feed rates to meet specified dimensions and finishes.

• Build fixtures and jigs independently and troubleshoot machining problems.

• Verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.

• Perform routine equipment upkeep and maintain accurate work and inspection records.

• Use basic computer applications and learn production tracking systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining training or certification preferred.

• Work on your feet for extended periods, regularly handle up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move up to 40 pounds with assistance as appropriate.

• Follow shop safety practices, wear required protective equipment, and maintain quality standards.
