Front Range Staffing is seeking an experienced Cook for immediate placement at a retirement community in Colorado Springs.

We are looking for a dependable, skilled cook who enjoys working with seniors and can prepare quality meals while accommodating residents' dietary needs and restrictions.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Location: Central Colorado Springs

An ideal candidate for this position would possess the following skills and experience:

• At least 2 years of institutional, senior living, nursing home, hospital, banquet, resort, or high-volume cooking experience

• Experience preparing meals for residents with dietary restrictions, allergies, modified diets, and special nutritional needs

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, portion guidelines, and dietary instructions accurately

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper food storage, and kitchen cleanliness standards

• Ability to prepare and serve meals efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

• Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude when working with the senior population

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one

• Reliable transportation

• Non-slip shoes required

• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds and stand for an eight-hour shift

• Non Smoker
