Front Range Staffing is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef with 3+ years of experience for a year-round opportunity at a boutique guest ranch located in the Colorado Rockies. This role is responsible for leading all kitchen operations while creating elevated, from-scratch meals that enhance the guest experience and reflect the ranch's hospitality-driven culture.

The Head Chef will oversee breakfast, lunch, and dinner service for guests and staff, manage kitchen inventory and food costs, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and mentor kitchen team members. This position plays a key role in shaping the culinary identity of the ranch and delivering unforgettable dining experiences for guests.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00/hour with paid Housing

Schedule: Year-Round | Flexible ranch schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

An ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience:

* 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring kitchen staff in a fast-paced hospitality or culinary environment
* Strong background in scratch cooking with a passion for fresh, whole-food preparation
* Experience creating elevated family-style and plated dining experiences
* Proven ability to manage menu planning, food ordering, inventory control, food costing, and waste reduction
* Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations
* Current Food Manager Certification or willingness to obtain
* Ability to accommodate dietary restrictions and special meal requests with professionalism and creativity
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Passion for hospitality, guest care, and creating memorable dining experiences
* Experience maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
* Ability to support special events, destination dinners, weddings, and retreats
* Comfortable working collaboratively within a ranch environment where teamwork and guest experience are top priorities
* Willingness to live and work on-site in a mountain ranch setting
* Assisting with overall ranch operations and guest experience when needed
